Ramadan Iftars with Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care department organized several iftar dinners this past Ramadan season. Some available parents invited the teachers and students to their houses to have an iftar dinner together. These dinners have already become a tradition at Sirius College. As we started to hold iftar program in our Campus last year, we reached more participants this year thanks to our exceptional parents.

Mr Adrian Verga who is the Year 7-8 coordinator welcomed the attendees with his speech. After the recitation of Adan, the guests and teachers had dinner altogether. The program was followed by the presentation given by one of our mentors who graduated from Meadow Fair Campus and explained the importance of Pastoral Care programs. In addition, guests had a Kahoot Game and winners received some humble prizes.

After the meal, guests enjoyed tea, coffee and traditional Turkish baklava.

As Pastoral Care teachers we would like to thanks our dedicated parents and students for their valuable support during the holy month of Ramadan.
